Update Plan Employee Salaries from iVantage

The Plan Employee Salaries Working Plan is not updated nightly from iVantage.  The reason this is not updated nightly is that the grid is used to plan reclassifications, promotions, and changes to FTE using the Add-Row-Copy and Next Record features.  If the Current record was updated nightly from iVantage, there would be overlapping dates between the Current and Next records which would cause calculation errors.  This will happen at the beginning of a fiscal year but would be cumbersome to maintain if updated nightly.

You can update current records in your Working Plan by employee or group of employees as you become aware of the changes made in iVantage.

1. From the Process menu select Scenario Management - Copy

2. Select S1 - Salary Planning - Copy Plan Employee Salaries Grid .

3. Note how the copy process defaults to copy from Incurred Actual to Working Plan.  Click on Employee to select the employee or employees you would like to update and run the process.

4. Go to the Plan Employee Salaries grid and note the updates.
