FAB offers a feature set designed to support the NCAR ABR process that may be leveraged to support any analysis process involving mapping costs to ad hoc items. In support of the NCAR strategic plan, this feature introduces the following new dimensions:
New terminology:
- Projects_Activities: Known in EOL as Lab ABR Tasks, these are the first level of mapping expenses using this feature set. Expenses are mapped to Projects/Activities based on an allocation %
- Strategic Plan Items: Projects/Activities are mapped to Strategic Plan Items based on an allocation %
- Priorities: Known in EOL as Mega Tasks, individual Projects/Activities are associated with one of these items
- Ranking: Known in EOL as Priority, individual Projects/Activities are associated with one of these items.
