When account keys are loaded to time cards does the system check whether the account key is closed?

Yes, the process that loads account keys to time cards does not allow remove Inactive or Closed keys to be loaded.  And when new time cards are generated, account keys in Inactive or Closed status are removed.  If an account key is active when the time card is created but becomes inactive at some point during the pay period, employees may code time to the closed account key and the payroll process will throw an error for the payroll clerk who will then contact the organization's administrator and the employee to change their time card.
