Cognos BI - Payroll Account Key Allocation Report

As of 5/14/2013 please use the report in the revisions folder:

Public Folders > UCAR Reports > Analytical Reports > Divisional HR Reports > Revisions

Please note, the Payroll Account Key Allocation Report is a "Snapshot", meaning it is based on a specific Pay Period so you need to select a specific pay period.  Pay periods available in the report begin with PP #3 in February of this year.  Selecting a pay period is done via drilling into the fiscal year, by opening each level with the "+" rather than checking the box to open it and check only the PP you wish to see.

When only the pay period selected is solid and all other selection boxes are shadowed, you will select only that pay period and will be shown in your report as follows:

When the selection boxes have the solid, rather than shadowed, all the items are included in the report, see below how this clue for pay period selected in the report, and you may also have some very strange totals:

The report is based on the entire fiscal year:

• Planned account keys and percentages are listed for staff for the entire fiscal year as it appeared in the working plan at the time of the selected pay period. 
• It shows the portion of time a person was planned to your keys for the fiscal year, so even if they longer be in your group, if their planned time is still in your plan, that portion of their planned time shows up in your report.
• The report includes both current and planned job titles, to show planned changes.
