Functional Org Tree (FOT) or HR Org Hierarchy

A project is currently underway that will update the organizational structure sourced from the UCAR Human Resources Information System. For example:

NCAR

NESL

CGD

OS (Oceanography)

 

This project consists of the following 2 phases:

 

Phase 1 (Dec 2012):  Implement changes as requested by Labs, Divisions, and Programs to the structure of the HR Org hierarchy.  This consists of adding new org units, creating changes to org unit parentage, and removing legacy org unit identifiers from the data tables behind the scenes.  This results in a re-write of all security rules and a change to the source for org unit (typically division) in reports.

Phase 2 (Apr 2013 - HAO and CISL in progress):  Where applicable, due to changes, move employees to new Org Units within the UCAR Human Resources Information System.

Phase 2b (TBS - more changes to org structure in NCAR and FandA, people moves) - Move employees to remaining new Org Units within the UCAR Human Resources Information System.
