The report distribution tool enables you to define groups and associate account keys with those groups so reports may be delivered via email with a pre-defined set of selection criteria. The basic steps for setting all of this up are:
1. Specify Default Folder for Group folders to be placed. This is the location on the Cognos BI folder where your groups' report views will be placed.
2. Define groups:
- Assign people to groups
- Assign report selection critera to groups (e.g. Account Keys)
3. Creat Jobs:
- Assign Groups to Jobs
- Assign reports to Jobs
